Frequently asked questions
Which cosmetic dentistry cost calculators are on this page?
You will find calculators for veneers, composite bonding, a Hollywood smile, teeth whitening and braces, plus a Turkey teeth cost calculator that adds flights, hotels and repeat trips to a quote. There is also an interactive teeth chart that explains Palmer, FDI and Universal tooth numbers, and a toothbrush timer.
Why don't the calculators show average prices?
Cosmetic treatment is very individual, and an average price based on someone else's plan can easily mislead you. The calculators work only with the figures from your own written quotes. That way you see what your plan costs, which items make up most of the total, and how two quotes really compare.
Is cosmetic dentistry available on the NHS?
The NHS provides clinically necessary treatment to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. Cosmetic treatments are usually done privately, and teeth whitening is not available on the NHS. In England, NHS charges from 1 April 2026 are £27.90 for Band 1, £76.60 for Band 2 and £332.10 for Band 3. Ask your dentist what is clinically necessary in your case.
Can I compare a UK quote with a quote from Turkey?
Yes. The Turkey teeth cost calculator puts both quotes side by side and adds flights, hotels, transfers, extra trips and time off. Remember that the NHS cannot reimburse dental treatment abroad, and the UK GHIC is not valid in Turkey. Talk to your own dentist before you decide.
Do the calculators replace advice from a dentist?
No. They help you organise numbers and compare quotes. Whether a treatment is right for your teeth, how many teeth should be treated and what the risks are is something to discuss with your dentist. Only the written treatment plan and the agreement with your practice are binding.
